Follow Me Printing and Copier Support
We now have access to Follow Me Printing, a service that allows you to send documents to the cloud and be released for printing at your convenience. Follow instructions for Xerox Printers to use the printer in 421 Denney Hall. You will need your BuckID to print and copy.
For faculty and staff:
For assistance with the department copiers, please contact the front desk staff in 421 Denney Hall in person, by phone (614-292-6065) or by email.
Copy requests may be submitted using the copy request log at the front desk of 421 Denney Hall. Copy requests will be fulfilled within 48 hours. With the goal of adhering to copyright/fair use best practices coupled with managing the workload of the front desk staff, copy limits have been set to a limit of 20% of a publication.

ASCTech can help with a number of issues and needs related to equipment that they manage. This includes:
- Getting help with your computer if it's a university computer managed by ASCTech
- Consultation on research data, storage, etc.
- Multimedia services (audio and video recording, editing, etc.)
- And a lot more!

OCIO also has a number of self-service request options, and they manage much of the software used by Ohio State. To see what they can help with, check out OCIO's Service Catalog. They can help with, among other things:
- University Email service
- Skype accounts
- Site licensed software
If you're experiencing trouble with a University-managed system like Carmen, email, OSUwireless, etc., check out OCIO's System Status page first--that will help you figure out if the issue is university-wide, and when it may be resolved.
ASCTech Computer Refresh Program
The College of Arts and Sciences ASCTech Computer Refresh Program replaces faculty and staff computers every four years. If you are eligible for a new computer, Wayne Lovely will email you as soon as the program is rolled-out each year. Once notified, reply to Wayne with your selection, and wait for his email reply regarding next steps.
Computer equipment not part of ASCTech Computer Refresh Program
The Chair will determine if any portion of the annual fund allowance may be used to purchase requested equipment or software that is not part of the ASCTech Computer Refresh Program. To request an equipment purchases send an email to English.Fiscal@osu.edu listing the specific item requested, estimated price for item, and a brief rationale (150 words or less) detailing the necessity and specific research business purpose of the equipment. The Fiscal Associate will reply regarding approval & next steps.

BuckeyeBox – Ohio State has teamed up with Box to offer faculty, staff and students an easy way to share files and folders online.
U.OSU – Create your own webpage or blog. This service is provided through the university, and sites are hosted on WordPress.

Several pieces of payroll and benefits information can be found on the eProfile site. Information you can find there includes:
- Direct deposit information
- Review current and prior paychecks
- Benefits summary and enrollment
- FSA/HRA information

The Ohio State: Wellness app is a tool designed to support student mental health and well-being on campus. The app streamlines access to resources and provides tools to help users develop healthy habits. The app was created in partnership with students, faculty and staff from across the university and is currently available for download on any iOS or Android device.
Ergonomics is the science of fitting the job to the worker. Environmental Health & Safety has implemented an ergonomics program to focus on the prevention and management of musculoskeletal disorders associated with repetitive job duties. The Ohio State Employee Assistance Program - Ohio State is committed to being a healthy workplace, which includes benefit offerings to help faculty and staff manage life’s challenges. Faculty and staff have access to the Ohio State Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that offers tools and resources to help address complex issues that can be affecting your mental and emotional well-being. EAP services are also available to benefits-eligible faculty and staff’s immediate families, members of their household and parents and parents-in-law.
Student Life Counseling and Consultation Services offers a variety of resources for currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students, as well as spouses/partners of students who are covered by the Student Health Insurance Benefits Plan.
The Graduate Association of Mental Health Action and Advocacy (GAMHAA) provides support and advocates for the needs of OSU graduate students' mental health and wellness. The association provides the opportunity for students to join together to make the university a healthier, more egalitarian place by spreading awareness, enacting anti-stigma initiatives, and advocating for positive grassroots change in the way graduate study is conducted at OSU. In this issue, you'll find graduate student personal narratives, data from the Council of Graduate Students' wellness survey, a reflection on caring for the self and others, and mental health resources on and off campus. Please read, share, and, if you're a grad student (or were one recently), consider contributing in the future to help us spread awareness and fight stigma. For most maintenance requests, please use the Service2Facilities website to make a request through Facilities, Operations and Development (FOD).
For emergency requests ONLY, call 614-292-HELP (4357).
For HVAC problems, please check the Denney Hall thermostat listing [.pdf]. The problem could be caused by the thermostat controlling the temperature in your office which may be located in a neighbor's office.
Heating-Cooling Transition – FOD maintenance personnel conduct season heating-cooling transitions in April and October. FOD works to ensure a seamless changeover, but weather variations may cause unanticipated fluctuations to interior temperatures.
