The Disability Studies Program and Department of English are offering the 2023 Disability Studies Pedagogy Workshop led by Margaret Price, Kelly Whitney and Eduardo Mabilog. Workshop time will be dedicated to discussion of pedagogical methods that comprise or enhance a Disability Studies approach in the classroom, with a particular focus on teaching ENG 2277. Interested participants should register for the workshop here by February 15.
Completion of this workshop counts for graduate-workshop credit for English students. Completion of this workshop also serves as one of the qualifications for teaching ENG 2277 (Introduction to Disability Studies) or ENG 2367.06 (Second-Year Writing / Disability Studies). For those planning to teach ENG 2367.06, the ENG 2367 training is also required.
