Certificate in Literary Publishing

Important Update, Autumn 2024

Unfortunately, we won't be able to host this program in Summer 2025. We continue to work to make sure the Certificate in Literary Publishing is a great experience when it launches. We’ll keep you updated when we have more information the share.

The Certificate in Literary Publishing is an intensive program designed to help participants develop comprehensive knowledge of the publishing world, the skills to succeed in it, and the kinds of meaningful connections that help forge and advance a career in the industry.

Taking place on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus, the program is one of a kind in the Midwest. It features an immersive series of seminars, practicums, workshops, roundtable discussions, and one-on-one meetings with publishers and editors, agents, and publicists currently employed in the field of literary publishing.

Discussions will occur around such topics as decision-making, ethics, editorial processes, publicizing, breaking into the New York City publishing landscape, and more.

Why Choose Ohio State?
