Undergraduate Studies is thrilled to be hosting a panel on Graduate School in English. If you’re thinking about a MA/PhD in English or a MFA in creative writing, you should definitely attend this event. If you’re not sure what those degrees entail, come and learn more!
Director of Graduate Studies, Professor Beth Hewitt, and Director of Creative Writing, Kathy Fagan Grandinetti, will give an overview of MA/PhD and MFA programs and admissions, including why one goes to graduate school, the components of an application and how to best position one’s self for admission. We’ll also welcome graduate students Cristina Rivera, Keira Hambrick, Nathan Richards and Neomi Chao, who will speak about their experiences in graduate programs.
This event will be held on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 5:00-6:30 p.m. in 311 Denney Hall. Light refreshments will be served.
