Kerry Ulm fell in love with writing during junior high while competing in Power of the Pen, a creative writing program for Ohio students. In the years since then, she completed a BA in International Studies (Ohio State, 2016,) an MA in Creative Writing (University College Dublin, 2017,) and an MA in Professional Writing with a certificate in Film and Media Studies (University of Cincinnati, 2019.) Through the University of Cincinnati, Kerry also taught as an adjunct instructor for the Department of English and managed the online presence for the Department of Classics’ excavation at the Palace of Nestor near Pylos, Greece. As a freelancer, she has written about topics ranging from cancer research to life in Utah in 1896. Now as a PhD student, Kerry is interested in digital humanities, primarily in the use of digital forms of writing for interpreting international cultural heritage sites and archives.
