Phoebe Spinrad is the author of The Summons of Death on the Medieval and Renaissance English Stage (The Ohio State University Press, 1987) and of articles on Renaissance drama and poetry, medieval drama and Vietnam War literature and history. She is also the author of poems published in various journals, magazines and anthologies. Spinrad is the editor  ofEmerita, Discoveries: South Central Renaissance Conference Notes and Reviews.
