Barbara Rigney specializes in twentieth-century British and American literature and women's studies. She is the author of The Voices of Toni Morrison, Madness and Sexual Politics in the Feminist Novel, Margaret Atwood and Lilith's Daughters: Women and Religion in Contemporary Fictionas well as articles on feminist fiction. She is the editor of Exile: A Memoir of 1939 and a recipient of the Ohio State Alumni Distinguished Teaching Award.
