Pritha is a PhD student in Rhetoric, Composition and Literacy. Her research interests include digital media studies, visual rhetoric, pop culture studies and queer studies. Her current project focuses on theorizing emergent forms of feminist, queer,and anti-racist social protest movements as they intersect with digital media and mobile composing technologies. Specifically, she is interested in questions concerning the limits of rights-based activisms and their influence on cultural, political and legal conceptions of the human and the body. Other interests include queer pedagogy, digital composition, transmedia seriality and narrative and post-9/11 constructions of race, sexuality and gender.
