Lynn Itagaki will appear on the radio show "Rising Up with Sonali" on Monday, April 18th, in an interview where she talks about her book Civil Racism: The 1992 Los Angeles Rebellion and the Crisis of Racial Burnout. The book examines cultural reactions to the Rodney King riots in 1992 Los Angeles. 

Lynn is an assistant professor in the Departments of English and Women's, Gender, and Sexuality studies and the Program in Asian American Studies at the Ohio State University. In 2014, she was awarded an Arts & Humanities Diversity Enhancement Award for her work in increasing the participation and recognition of diverse groups at, and demonstrate a significant impact for, Ohio State and the Columbus community.
