While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Frederick Aldama

Ohio State English Professor Frederick Aldama recently appeared on MSNBCTV's Road Map segment. Aldama and entertainment reporter Zayda Rivera joined the show on January 13, 2016, to discuss how Mexican filmmakers Alfonso Cuaron, Guillermo Del Toro, and Alejandor Gonzalez Inarritu, among others, "are putting their artistic stamp on Hollywood."

Aldama is an Ohio State Arts and Humanities Distinguished Professor and the founder and director of LASER (Latino and Latin American Space for Enrichment and Research), a program that seeks to create a total mentoring system for Latinos beginning in high school and continuing through the graduate level.
