In preparation for this event, Ohio poets and environmental scientists were paired up and asked to discuss environmental issues; the poets then wrote work in response to those conversations. The panel will feature three pairings from the project: Kathy Fagan and Lauren Pintor Rosebud Ben-Oni and Zakee Sabree Ruth Awad and Kerry Ard In addition to poetry readings, the event will feature an interdisciplinary discussion of important ethical and environmental issues, with a focus on their relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
