"Poets and Scientists: A Panel" is the exciting result of a project that put poets and environmental scientists in conversation, bringing together the humanities and sciences. In preparation for this event, Ohio poets and environmental scientists were paired up and asked to discuss environmental issues; the poets then wrote work in response to those conversations. The panel will feature three pairings from the project:

Ruth Awad and Kerry Ard
In addition to poetry readings, the event will feature an interdisciplinary discussion of important ethical and environmental issues, with a focus on their relation to the COVID-19 pandemic.
