A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in German Village, 672 South Third Street, Columbus Ohio on Saturday, April 23. Family and friends will gather at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's for a time of rememberance. Following the funeral mass, internment will be in the columbarium at St. Joseph's Cemetary, 6440 South High Street, Lockbourne, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society of St. Mary's Church, German Village, a lay organization to air the poor and the needy.
At the 9:00 time of remembrance, people will have an opportunity to post photos on a corkboard, share stories, etc. Some of Jon’s friends from Milwaukee are going to bring a video of one of his performances to show on a TV (without sound per the church’s request).
There will be a luncheon, starting at 11:30, at Barcelona (German Village) for family, friends, and colleagues.
The family expects to set up a College Advantage 529 fund for Jon's daughter, Isabel. Details will follow soon.
