Join us for a roundtable discussion about the recently rediscovered Ohio poet Sarah Morgan Bryan Piatt (1836-1919). Experts Dr. Larry R. Michaels, Sean E. Andres, and OSU English Professor Elizabeth Renker will discuss Piatt’s celebrity status during her lifetime, her fall into obscurity after death, and the work of recovering a poet whose writing is worthy of canonical status today.
