Karen Vallgårda will give a talk titled "Childhood and the Ambiguous Politics of Love: Danish Mission in Colonial South India" on Friday, April 15th from 11:30 a.m. – 1 p.m. in 168 Dulles Hall. This lecture is part of the 2015-2017 program for the Center of Historical Research (CHR), devoted to “Family, Kinship and Household: New Perspectives.” Over the coming two years we will be sponsoring a series of lectures and other events exploring recent research in these areas.
