On October 17 we lost a beloved teacher, colleague, and friend with the passing of Professor Sean O’Sullivan. Sean had been a member of our OSU community since 2006, teaching courses in film, tv, narrative theory, and more. His love of teaching kept him in the classroom even after his illness had become increasingly debilitating, allowing him to share with one last cohort of students the passion, wit, and knowledge from which all who worked with him had benefited over the course of his career.
Please join us on December 2 at 3 p.m. for a memorial ceremony celebrating Sean's life. Following the ceremony, we will adjourn to the Faculty Club for refreshments and reminiscence.
The memorial service will be held in the Schulz Auditorium, 220 Sullivant Hall. To reach the auditorium, enter through the Billy Ireland Cartoon Library and Museum's entrance on the north side of the building; the Cartoon Library's Visit Us page includes a map showing the entrance, as well as the nearest public parking in the Ohio Union South Garage.
