Thomas Pickering, senior lecturer, teaches courses in technical and professional writing. Prior to joining OSU he taught disciplinary writing in computer science and mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research background applies political economic theory to contemporary digital writing economies. He earned his PhD in rhetoric and composition from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2022.
