Káyọ̀dé Odùmbọ́ní's research interests revolve around global black literature and cultures. His ongoing dissertation project, tentatively titled Fractured Solidarities: Mapping a Black Internationalist Imaginary, 1955 till Present, maps out a historical trajectory of transatlantic solidarities between Africans and African Americans from the heyday of the civil rights movements and the anti-colonial struggles of the mid-20th century through the present moment of technology-mediated political activism.
