Siddharth Mukherjee is a PhD student in English and a Graduate Teaching Associate at The Ohio State University. His research focuses on medieval English literature, manuscript culture, Chaucer studies, and the representation of women in late medieval texts. He is particularly interested in how manuscript practices, including layout, rubrication, and scribal variation, shape literary authority and frame women’s voices within textual traditions.

His recent projects examine female agency in Middle English literature through biblical narratives and modern feminist theory. Siddharth earned his MA in English from the University of Rochester, following an earlier MA in English from Indira Gandhi National Open University in India. His broader research interests include Renaissance and Victorian literature, textual transmission, and the literary afterlives of medieval women.
