Elana Marcus is a writer from South Florida. She holds a B.A. in creative writing and playwriting/screenwriting from SUNY Purchase. She is the recipient of the Helen Earnhart Harley Creative Writing Fellowship Award in Fiction, The Ginny Wray Prize in Fiction, and the Ginny Wray Senior Prize in Fiction. Her work has appeared or is forthcoming in Apple Valley Review, The Westchester Review, and on the podcast Short Story Today.
