Ali Alhajji is a PhD candidate in the Department of English at The Ohio State University and a lecturer in the Department of English Language and Literature at King Saud University. He is currently working on a dissertation project exploring the relationship between cross-cultural communication and reliability in contemporary Anglophone Arab writing. His research and teaching also encompass postcolonial, translation and ethnic studies as well as Southwest Asian and North African studies.
