Lauren Colwell is a PhD student interested in self and emotion studies in Early Medieval Literature. She received her BA in Communication Studies at Baylor University and recently completed her MA in English Literature at Belmont University. Her master's thesis explores concepts of the personal self in the Anglo-Saxon poem Juliana.
