Congratulations to Alan Farmer, Aman Garcha, John Moe and Susan Hanson, who were all recognized for their teaching and mentoring by members of the Mortar Board Senior Honor Society. The ceremony, “thanking The Ohio State University’s best for making a difference in the lives of students,” took place at the 23rd Annual Sphinx and Mortar Board Faculty and Staff Recognition Reception, on February 15th, 2012.

The faculty-staff reception is a prestigious recognition ceremony sponsored by Sphinx and Mortar Board Senior Class Honoraries. It is an opportunity for the accomplished seniors of the two organizations to honor those faculty or staff members of the university who have been instrumental during their collegiate career. It acknowledges the extraordinary efforts of the mentor chosen by each student.

The reception also provides a venue in which students, staff, and faculty from throughout the university are able to interact.
