The International Society for the Study of Narrative has awarded Honorable Mention (second place) in the Perkins Prize competition for Best Book in Narrative to Robyn Warhol’s  Narrative Theory Unbound: Queer and Feminist Interventions (co-edited by Susan S. Lanser).

The most prestigious award in the field, the Perkins Prize goes to “the book that makes the most significant contribution to the study of narrative.”  Warhol and Lanser are pleased that their edited collection, inspired by the Project Narrative Symposium on Queer and Narrative Theory held in 2011 at OSU, was judged to have made the second most significant contribution to this interdisciplinary and international field last year.
