Wang Ning: Postmodernism, Literature, and Chinese Consumer Culture
Wang Ning is a Professor of English and Comparative Literature at Tsinghua University, and Zhiyuan Chair Professor of Humanities at Shanghai Jiaotong University. Apart from his numerous books and articles in Chinese, he has authored two books in English: Globalization and Cultural Translation (2004), and Translated Modernities: Literary and Cultural Perspectives on Globalizaton and China (2010).This event is co-sponsored by The Institute for Chinese Studies, Project Narrative, and OSU Libraries.
