You Don't Have to Go to Mars for Love follows an unnamed protagonist on her multidimensional, afro-futuristic journey. The poems in this collection stretch the boundaries normally constraining a Black female body, providing an alternate psychic space of community and empowerment.
This reading is free and open to the public. Q&A and book signing to follow. Books will be available for sale from Barnes and Noble.
