On Thursday, October 26, 2017, the Department of English will host its fourth annual Undergraduate Alumni Panel and Dinner night. Undergraduate English majors and department faculty and staff are warmly invited to come learn about career opportunities for today's graduates, meet recent alumni and enjoy a very free, very fancy meal with Team English.
The event will begin with dinner culminate with a panel of English alumni, who will discuss their experiences and offer advice to current students. Attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions to the alumni panel which will include:
- Lauren Culley, Owner of Fox in the Snow Cafe
- Erin Hackett, Financial Advisor at Morgan Stanley-The Capitol Group
- Tim Hackett, Assistsant State Public Defender for the Office of the Ohio Public Defender-Juvenile Department
- Bridgette Mariea, Partner and VP of Operations at Roto (creative consulting and design firm)
After the panel concludes, alumni panel members will be available to meet current students and answer any further questions.
The Undergraduate Alumni Panel and Dinner night will take place at the Blackwell from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The Blackwell is located at 2110 Tuttle Park Place on Ohio State's Columbus campus. RSVP's are requested by midnight on Sunday, October 22, 2017. We look forward to seeing you there!
