The Aldus Society brings literary events and programming to book lovers and educational opportunities to members. Some of our members are serious book collectors, some of us are merely lovers of the printed word in all its forms.
The Aldus Society Presents Professor Thora Brylowe, University of Colorado Boulder, who is currently " writing a book about the making and uses of paper in the 18th and 19th centuries."
Her talk for the evening is called, "Early Southern Passports and the Paper They're Printed On: A Little-Known American Story"
