Graduate students are invited to attend a workshop with this year's Kane lecturer, Professor Manu Chander, on Friday, January 14th at 1:00pm during which he will lead students in a discussion of W. E. B. DuBois’s 1897 essay “The Conservation of Races” as well as two later responses to DuBois by Anthony Appiah and Lucius Outlaw.
