Auditions for Lord Denney's Players' Production of "Comedy of Errors"
Lord Denney's Players will be holding auditions for their production of Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors Tuesday, January 18 from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, January 19 from 6-9 p.m. You only need to come one of those two days, and you can come any time during the 3-hour window for the day. Callbacks will be held Thursday, January 20 from 6-9 p.m. Auditions are open to all current Ohio State students, faculty and staff, as well as recent alumni (graduated in last ~3 years).
What You Need for Auditions:
One Shakespearean (or early modern i.e., Marlowe, Middleton, Kyd, etc.) monologue (but not from Comedy of Errors)
Your monologue should be no longer than two minutes (feel free to cut some lines from your monologue if needed!)
A recent picture of yourself.
A theatrical CV listing theatre experience is optional.
Be prepared to cold read from the script.
As per Ohio State requirements, everyone (including those auditioning) will wear masks for the entirety of auditions.
