Katie Pyontek is an MFA candidate in fiction. She taught English in the Czech Republic and worked for five years as a software engineer in Seattle before studying at Ohio State. She has recieved a fellowship from Brush Creek Foundation for the Arts and is an alumna of the Kenyon Review Writers and the Tin House Winter Workshops. Her writing has appeared in New Ohio Review, The Adroit Journal and South Seattle Emerald.
