Corey Efron is a PhD candidate who researches postmodern fiction, media studies and experimental and avant-garde texts. Particularly, Efron is interested in examining the manner in which technological proliferation has lead to narrative experimentation and innovation in literature and other media. He is currently working on a dissertation that examines media aesthetics in post-1960s fiction. Efron has taught writing classes on posthumanism (both in person and online), fiction classes exploring the notion of time and a digital media course focusing on the contemporary media landscape. He has also served as a TA for the Introduction to Film course.
