Leila Ben-Nasr is a PhD candidate currently working on a dissertation entitled “The Narrative Space of Childhood in 21st Century Anglophone Arab Literature in the Diaspora.” Her research interests include U.S. ethnic literature, postcolonial and diaspora literature, twentieth- and twenty-first-century American literature, Arab American studies and folklore studies. She is a 2012 Graduate Associate Teaching Award (GATA) winner for the department.
