ENGLISH 4576.03: History of Critical Theory III: Issues and Movements

Study of the history of literary criticism and of special topics in critical theory; study of selected issues or movements in critical theory; topics may include feminist theory, postmodernism, narrative theory, mass culture, and queer theory.
Prereq: 6 cr hrs of English courses at the 2000-3000 level, or permission of instructor. A 2367 course in any subject is acceptable towards the 6 cr hrs. Not open to students with credit for 576.03.
