Study Abroad
English 595, "Literary Locations"
"Literary Locations" is a course that allows students to study a topic for a quarter at OSU and then visit the places featured in the readings for ten days at the end of the quarter. The course is offered every winter and spring quarter. Winter 595s meet winter quarter and go abroad for 10 days over spring break, while spring 595s meet spring quarter and go abroad for 10 days at the end of the quarter.
Past 595s have focused on Shakespeare's England (London and Stratford), Literary Dublin, Victorian London, and American Writers in Paris.

The Greenwich Summer Program
A six-week Study Abroad Program at the University of Greenwich, England, about four miles southeast of London on the River Thames. Earn 15 hours of OSU credit, including 5 hours of individual studies (English 693). The other 10 hours are for a course taught by Greenwich faculty on "The Literature of London." This course stretches from Renaissance representations of the city to post-modern texts about multi-cultural London. Students will have some flexibility in determining which OSU English courses these 10 hours are converted into.The Greenwich Summer Program.
