Script on Gold Leaf (6)*
Jean Gallagher
(I have paid the penalty. I have flown out of the heavy, difficult circle.)
Sure I paid for leaning on the scale paid
everything. Pocketbook emptied I spun away
not from the griefs but from their goldweight riding
my life a round tin sled down [?] cold [?]
maybe but at this speed can you believe it
a gladness to be had in suffering what you never
suffered before. Kid kid light and clumsy
with never with not I kept falling and am never not.
