The second annualKitty O. Locker Prize for Excellence in Business Communication
for outstanding graduate student conference presentation, publication, or dissertation in Business CommunicationThe Rhetoric, Composition, and Literacy Studies Program is looking for submissions for its second annual Kitty O. Locker Prize for Excellence in Business Communication. The $1000 prize is awarded for an outstanding graduate student conference presentation, publication, or dissertation in business communication. The prize is made possible by donations to the Kitty O. Locker Memorial Fund and will be awarded during the departmental award ceremony on May 23.
To be eligible for the award students must have been enrolled as a graduate student during 2005-2006 or 2006-2007, and their paper must have been delivered during that same time frame.
To apply for the prize, submit an electronic copy of the conference paper, article, or dissertation abstract and one chapter to Kay Halasek (halasek.1@osu.edu) by May 4, 2007. Faculty and self-nominations are welcomed.
