- American Sign Language Program:The ASL program at Ohio State is unlike any other ASL sequence in the country because it involves contributions from three Colleges with each College providing a unique perspective. The three participating Colleges/Departments are: Education, Humanites (Department of English) and Social and Behavioral Sciences (Department of Speech and Hearing Science). - Center for Folklore Studies: The Center for Folklore Studies at the Ohio State University supports the learning, teaching, research, and outreach endeavors of folklorists and students of folklore. With participation from across the colleges of Humanities, Arts, Social and Behavioral Sciences, and Education, one of the Center's objectives is to provide OSU folklorists with a network for cooperation and interdisciplinary dialogue. - Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies: CMRS is an interdisciplinary unit in the College of Humanities dedicated to the study of Europe and its neighbors from the end of the Roman Empire through the seventeenth century. Its activities include the promotion of teaching and research in all aspects of medieval and renaissance culture, including art, music, literature, religion, history, philosophy and government. - Center for Study & Teaching of Writing: The Center for the Study and Teaching of Writing (CSTW) is an interdisciplinary support and research unit in The Ohio State University's College of Humanities. - The Digital Media Project: The DMP supports five instructional computer labs, 3 using Windows platforms and 2 using Mac platforms. We also maintain a pedagogy/research center dedicated to supporting pedagogical and research applications of technology for faculty and graduate students. - Sexuality Studies: The field of Sexuality Studies examines how sexual practices, expressions, identities, and representations are shaped by social, historical, psychological, literary, legal, biological, and political contexts. - Literacy Studies: The Literacy Studies Working Group's mission is to foster a critical, cross-campus conversation and collaborative investigation into the nature of literacy, bringing together historical, contextual, comparative, and critical perspectives and modes of understanding, from the social and natural sciences to the arts and humanities, education, medicine, and law, stimulating new institutional and intellectual relationships between different disciplinary clusters and their constituents.
