Visiting Scholars in Digital Media and Composition
The Visiting Scholars in Digital Media and Composition program is ideal for interested faculty planning a leave or sabbatical focused on some aspect of digital media studies. This program offers applicants an opportunity to undertake concentrated or extended projects involving digital and multimodal texts within the technology-rich setting of a Big Ten research-oriented institution. Visiting Scholars can designate the length of their stay (from two weeks to one year depending on the scope of their projects). During this time, they will have access to technical support, office space, various print and digital resources, and like-minded colleagues in digital media studies. Scholars are also offered an honorarium to deliver an informal lecture about their work near the end of their visit.More information on applying for a Visiting Scholarship in Digital Media and Composition.

Ohio State University proudly invites faculty working in the arena of computers and composition to join us as a Visiting Scholar in Digital Media and Composition. This new program offers interested colleagues an opportunity to undertake concentrated or extended projects involving digital and multimodal texts in a technology-rich setting removed from their home institution, but connected to the profession.
Visiting Scholars can schedule stays of flexible duration, from two weeks to one year, depending on their project, and will enjoy the many benefits of a Big Ten environment during sabbaticals or leaves. Visiting Scholars in Digital Media and Composition receive no salary; they are, however, offered an honorarium to deliver an informal lecture near the end of their visit.
The Visiting Scholars in Digital Media and Composition program provides participants the following benefits:
